Roof Repair Smedway built its Hail Damage Roof Repair division around one idea: homeowners in West Point deserve a straight answer, a fair price, and a truck in the driveway fast.
Roof Repair Smedway didn't start as a franchise looking for a market to plant a sign in. Our crews trained on real tear-offs, real ridge vents, and real attic inspections in West Point, IL before we ever put a truck on the road under this name.
Licensing and insurance aren't a line item we mention once and forget — we keep documentation current and available on request, because a homeowner signing off on a Hail Damage Roof Repair project deserves proof, not a promise.
We've seen what happens when a roof gets "good enough" instead of done right — the drywall stains, the mold behind the insulation, the second call nobody wanted to make. Our Hail Damage Roof Repair teams build to avoid that call entirely.
Bonded, insured, and ready to show proof on the spot.
Storm damage doesn't check a calendar, so neither does our on-call rotation.
Every estimate is itemized in writing so you know exactly what you're paying for.
Faster arrival times because the truck was already nearby.
By the time water is visibly dripping into a room, the damage underneath the surface has usually been developing for a while.
Asphalt shingles shed protective granules as they age, and a gutter full of grit usually means the surface layer is wearing thin.
Cupped shingles trap moisture underneath instead of shedding it, accelerating rot in the decking below.
Visible light through the roof deck is a direct sign the barrier between your attic and the weather has been compromised.
A yellow-brown ring spreading across a ceiling almost always traces back to a roof leak, even if the leak point is several feet away from the stain.
Energy bills that creep upward without an obvious reason are worth checking against your roof's condition.
Even one missing shingle can let enough water through to rot the decking underneath within a single storm season.
Whether it's a single emergency tarp or a full system replacement, each service below is handled by technicians who specialize in that exact scope of work.
Active leaks after a storm get a same-day response whenever it's physically possible — a temporary tarp-down first, a permanent fix scheduled right behind it.
From a handful of cracked shingles to a full asphalt or metal system replacement, our residential crews scope the job against manufacturer specs, not guesswork.
Commercial roofs carry different loads and different membrane systems than residential shingles, and our crews are trained on TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen accordingly.
Replacement jobs include a detailed material walkthrough so you're choosing a system that fits your climate exposure and budget, not just whatever's on the truck.
Scheduled maintenance visits catch loose flashing and clogged valleys before the next storm turns them into an emergency call.
Chimney crickets, skylight seals, and valley flashing are common leak points that general handyman work often gets wrong — our crews treat them as their own scope.
Calls placed after hours still reach an on-call line for anything urgent.
A technician walks the roof, checks the attic side when accessible, and documents the damage with photos.
You receive an itemized, written estimate before any work begins, covering materials, labor, and disposal.
Warranty documentation is provided on completion for both materials and labor.
Crews dispatched from within West Point, IL reach most West Point calls faster than out-of-area companies quoting a two-week wait.
Flat-rate pricing means the quote you approve is the quote you pay, barring a scope change we'll flag with you first.
Our installers train on manufacturer specifications for shingles, underlayment, and flashing systems, not just general carpentry.
We'd rather send a crew back for a five-minute fix than leave a customer unsure whether the job was done correctly.
We've worked with enough adjusters across West Point, IL to know what documentation actually gets a claim approved faster.
If a repair is all your roof needs, we'll say so — we don't push a full replacement to inflate the invoice.
Every Hail Damage Roof Repair project closes with a written warranty covering our labor, separate from whatever coverage the shingle or membrane manufacturer already provides.
We also guarantee the estimate itself: barring a scope change you approve in writing, the number on your written quote is the number on your final invoice.
Our West Point coverage area extends across West Point, IL, and if your address falls just outside the standard zone, dispatch can usually still arrange a visit.
If a storm system moves through West Point, IL and call volume spikes, we prioritize active leaks first and communicate realistic wait times for everything else rather than leaving people guessing.
